How the CPS test works
The CPS test measures your clicks per second — how many times you can press the mouse button in a set window of time. Pick a duration, then click the pad as fast as you can. The timer starts on your very first click, so there is no wasted reaction time, and it stops automatically when the clock runs out. Your score is simply the number of clicks divided by the seconds, so 40 clicks in a 5-second test is 8 CPS.
Most people run the 5-second test because it is long enough to be fair but short enough to sprint the whole way. Shorter tests reward a fast burst; longer ones reward stamina. Every duration keeps its own separate personal best on this device.
What is a good CPS score?
